All of our boats are delivered with the seat and footrests loose.  This is to allow the paddler to experiment with the seat position to get the best balance.  The standard seat is now bolted into the hull, but the old seat for is still available for the Advantage and Hosanna if requested (we can supply Resin and Cloth to secure these seats in place).  We recommend that additional foam blocks be placed around the seat to secure it and take the strain off the seat attachment bolts.

When fitting the footrests, decide on the position and drill the first hole.  Then get a long M5 bolt and screw it through the corresponding hole in the footrest .  Push the bolt through the hole in the hull and then you can accurately mark or drill the second hole.
